KG Personnel is looking for a Handyman who will join one of our Luton based clients on a temporary basis (however a permanent contract may be offered to the right candidate). The successful candidate will be required to cover a variety of commercial and residential properties throughout Luton and the surrounding areas.
Examples of requirements for general day to day tasks and repairs are listed below.
• DIY, General Repairs & Installations
– Installing Doors
• Fittings
• Fire Doors
– Curtain Rails & Window Blinds
– Shelves & Cabinets
– Door locks & Handles
• Plumbing
– Changing Taps & Shower Heads
– Unblocking Sinks & Toilets
• Resolving Water Leaks
• Electrical Fittings & General Maintenance
– Fixing & Replacing Light Bulbs, Light Switches & Wall Socket
• General Painting & Decorating
Additional skills (desirable)
• Plastering
• Wall Tiling
• Laminate Flooring
• Laying Carpet
The role is based at various sites, so a full driving license and access to a vehicle is a must.
Hourly rate: £11.00
Working days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 25-28hrs per week + overtime depending on the workload
The successful candidate will be required to apply for an Enhanced DBS check.
