KG Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Edgebander Operator for a company based in Letchworth Garden City.
This role is for a candidate with joinery material knowledge, and who possess a flexible attitude to manage the complete process of edging for all project work for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the panels are safely loaded and unloaded into the machine.
- Ensure that the edging quality is to expected standards and adjust the machine setting accordingly.
- Edge all the different job folders in the correct sequence.
- Ensure that correct edging tape is applied in relation to the specification shown on the cutting list.
- Monitor edging time versus planned time.
- Maintain the machine in line with recommendations.
- Working hours: Mon-Fri, 8.00-16.30, 40 hours per week, 1.5 for anything over this.
Pay Rate:
£11-£13 p/h (depending on experience).
