LOADING BAY OPERATIVES URGENTLY NEEDED IN KINGSBURY AND ATHERSTONE AREA!
KG Personnel Ltd is currently recruiting for a self-motivated individuals to join busy team in the role of Loading Bay Operative.
These will be temporary positions with the possibility of going permanent. You will be working in a fast-moving, exciting environment.
As a Loading Bay Operative you will need safety shoes or boots.
Duties will include:
Providing a fast response to all drivers requiring to load and unload in the loading bay
• Ensuring loads are evenly distributed and safely secured
• Lifting and moving heavy items on a regular basis
Scan inbound and outbound consignments
Locating cargo safely and accurately in warehouse racking and bay system
Ensuring inbound cargo is correctly labelled and stored in the correct location for easy retrieval
Ensuring outbound cargo is correctly labelled and loaded onto the correct vehicles
Completion of records for goods received and dispatched
Ensuring that the warehouse area is kept clean and tidy
Skills:
Very good communication skills
Knowledge of manual handling
• Used to working to deadlines
• Experience within mail and post environment
• Good team player
• Good computer skills
Successful candidates will ideally have previous loading bay or warehousing experience and be able to demonstrate a committed and flexible approach to the fast-paced working environment.
You must be able to supply your own safety shoes or boots as this is a health and safety requirement.
Pay rates are:
£6.70 – for candidate under 25 years old,
£7.20 – for candidates 25 years old and over
After 12 weeks on 13th week pay raises to £8.42 with an overtime rate of £8.82 (if there hours exceed 39 hours a week)
Working Hours:
Night shift (different time starts ranging between 18:00 and 01:30).
